CARE GUIDE
Your handmade item (quilt, pillow, bear, or animal) was created to be used, not stored away in a closet. Snuggle it knowing each stitch was sewn with love! The best was to keep a quilted item fresh and the fabric bouncy and non-stuffy smelling is to USE it!
SPOTCLEANING
If you have a small area that needs a little TLC, hand wash just that area with a damp cloth and a gentle non-bleach detergent.
STORAGE
If you need to store the quilt, it's best to roll it up. If you have to fold it, remember to refold it a different way every few months.
MACHINE WASHING
Unless you're using the quilt (or bear/animal or pillow) hard all the time, you shouldn't need to wash it more than once a year (yes, you read that right!). Light use it good for it!
With that being said, if it's time for a wash, I reccomned the following:
- Use a gentle wash cycle with COLD water
- Add a Shout Color Catcher to the load
- Gentle detergent (no bleach!)
- Tumble dry low until damp, then line dry
